Default DA Supercharger Help

So I finally have a DA Supercharger, well temporarily. The kit that I have is from a 92 318is and as most of you know I have a 95 m42. Are both kits different. They look the same. The guy at DA said the injectors are bigger in my car. Anyone know what size pulley is for the blower and the belt?

There are 5 different DASC kits. There are many differences between the 318ti, 318is, z3, m44 and m42. I don't know all of the differences, but the parts are NOT interchangeable without some work. Best bet is to call Jim at DA with a credit card and order the parts you need.

but the dasc came from an m42 so i would think it would work fine... i dont see why not. even if your injectors are bigger i would think that would just be beneficial

I called DA and he was giving me attitude. They don't sell parts separately. I looked at my injectors and the injectors from the 92 and they are both orange tops. He said that mine won't fit the manifold? So far all I need is the right size pulley and belt.

So it turns out the pulley is right. Anyone with a 95 318ti who has the DASC could you double check to see if your pulley takes a 3 or 4 rib belt I believe. Also if you could give me the belt size that runs on it. All I need is the right belt and everything else should work. Also can anyone show me a picture of what their pulley/belt setup is because the 92 318 was different with all of the pulleys and belt pattern.

Yeah, the 92 had V-belts, not a single serpentine. That would make all the pulleys different between kits. Jim's not one for taking orders over the phone. I know. Send him a follow up e-mail with a list of parts that you want. That's what I had to do when installing a used kit.

So do I have to change the pulleys or can I change the belt pattern?

I have a 95 dasc, the belt I run is from napa part number K060840. I have no idea how long it is, but I got this part number from Downing Atlanta.

Viper, I sent you an email to your hotmail account with a photo of the installation manual of the DASC belt routing. I would have posted it here, but I have no idea how to do that. Hope that helps.

I've never used photobucket, so I just sent you the email. Let me know if that is what you were looking for.
