Default How do I remove the rear seats?

I am going to look at a parts car this weekend, and I may by the rear seats if tehy look as good as the pictures. Both cars are '96 318Ti's. Mine is California edition, his is not but the interior loosk the same. WHat tools are required, and how do I get them out?

Thanks!

the seat bottom doesn't need any tools, just grab it at the front and pull straight up to release the clips, then forward to pull it out. the backs are held in by bolts at the bottom that you can see after removing the seat bottom, I can't remember what size they are though

The side pieces don't need tools either, you just have to pull upwards and sort of wiggle them around. It's easier if you first remove (or fold down) the seat backs.

oops, forgot about the side bolsters, I think they actually have a plastic nut on the bottom of them but you can easily undo it with your hands
