I purchased an M3 rear diffuser to put a dual tip exhaust. I know I have to make room for the spare wheel, but thats not a problem. Can't seem to pry it off? Don't want to damage it. | | | 03-01-2007, 10:24 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: ipswich Posts: 656 | u have to undo the 2 screws one each end then pull it out __________________ 318TI FOR SALE MESSAGE ME FOR MORE INFORMATION | | | 03-01-2007, 01:35 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | M3 rear valance won't fit. You need one from a 323ti. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-01-2007, 02:49 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Lincoln Park Capitol Hill, Washington DC Posts: 741 | Quote: Originally Posted by jaimito79 Do i need to remove the bumper to remove the stock diffuser from my Ti? The removal of the bumper involves taking the black strip off and unscrew all the bolts from the bumper bracket. However, if you do have an M-Tech rear bumper with valance, the M3 rear valance is way too long for the Ti's M-Tech Bumper. I thought the same thing, but I did see another Ti with the M3 diffuser. It was not a cut out. The muffler was also relocated more to the left of the bumper, because of the obvious placement of the opening for the dual dips. I took the molding of the bumper and saw no bolts. Where do i access the bolts to the bumper? | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
