The original motor was fitted with a DASC, but it ended up shooting a rod through the block. Then I think it was replaced with another M44 which was killed by hydrolock. Then I went with him to San Ysidro, CA to pick up the S52. At one point the car took on some front end damage when he crashed into a cliff. Can't remember if it was the driver or passenger side, but I do remember only one corner was affected. I seen it after he had it fixed and it looked and drove fine.
