Default M44 oil filter cap wrench size?

Hi, anyone know the alphabetical size for the M44 oil filter cap wrench? I heard it was "B" - it did not grip the cap correctly. I tried "A" and it still does not fit. Please tell me what you M44 guys use to take off your oil filter caps!!! so frustrating!!

Pretty sure I bought a "B", haven't had any problems.

I use something just like this: http://zdmak.com/wbstore/main.asp?ac...=M0093B&CTMP=1

Mine's a Mercedes stamped tool from a Mercedes dealer. It's probably the exact same tool as above. You just tighten those bolts finger tight and it'll grab the cap very securely. Here's the Mercedes part number: 103 589 0209 00

I had a plastic one from a part store but it was junk.
