Default first pics of the season

Well, I finally got my 2.8 swap running smooth and I was out with my buddy tonight, and found the camera in the car and figured Id snap a few photos..
I took a bunch but was running on a crappy setting the entire time (doh!), so they didn't come out well at all... it suppose to be nice again tommorrow, so I will give it a good wax and get some better, more flattering pictures....

these are barely worth sharing as it is, but I figured Id make the thread and could just post tommorrows coming pics here tommorrow.

I really miss my Rieger lip if you were wondering... M3 bumper will be on by August at least, just need to find some money for paint!

Also, I posted these vids on BF the other day... just a quick vid of accelerating on the onramp to the highway - only really pushed it in 2nd gear, and since Im not much of a "speed racer" I didn't want to go much faster than the limit.
Quite a sleeper from a visual standpoint if you ask me.

And for those who are not following my pathetic build thread, may like to see this clip

More pics tommorrow, as I know these are horrible... Im just stupid bored and have nothing better to do... lol

I wish I had a 2.8 swap or anything swap in my Ti. The acceleration seems nice.

how is that cluster working? i thought the 4 cyl cluster would not work on a 6 cyl ecu and motor? is it reading correctly? or am i imagining things? cuz it seems to be working perfectly.

The acceleration is awesome... I don't think Id have much problems sticking with a stock or lightly modded S50 M3. Can't wait to get it on the dyno in a few weeks.

and that is actually a 6cyl cluster I just slapped in there. Notice how the Canadian kid is running the MPH gauge (ps. i hate it lol - need to swap gauge faces from 4cyl eventually)

also, oddly enough, the MPG gauge doesn't just "dangle" loosely like I thought/read it would... during a full stop (idle), it will stay all the way to the right (0 mpg) and if i give it any gas at all, or even start rolling, it will swing to full left (40 mpg)

Someone is enjoying his upgraded ride. Why no engine pics for us to see? Trying to hide the new added power? Take some more pics right now!

Right on, I didn't notice the MPG gauge the first time I watched the vid. I seen that it went up to 140 MPH and assumed it was a 4cyl cluster. Sounds great Philly, congrats!

These little cars really come to life when they're swapped. Imagine a Dinan tuned S52 powered Ti

lol, nope... she really is that quick (and i know you mean 140 KM/H) - In vid #2, i got right off it at 70 because something happened that caused a rough idle and loss of power - you can hear the sound change in the engine right at 70mph... but it sorted itself out though pretty quick...

and I can't even imagine a Dinan S52... its going to be absolutely NUTS bro... im going to follow your thread like I follow Phammy's - religiously! So you better keep posting up reports for us! Your gonna have one of the sickest cars on here, as if you don't already!

well i never officially made it out for photoshoot #2 yet... its just not exciting to take pics with my stock bumper (w/o lip.. ) and dented nosepanel...

but i just came back from a little drive, and still had the cam in the glovebox... SOOOO I snapped a rolling shot of the wheels, a few interior shots, and a coupe of the engine bay for you doubters

rollers - i need a buddy to snap this shot, im not a good multi-tasker

interior - very dirty... has not been cleaned since I laid it up for the swap... what is that seat pattern called? other than cheap?

vroooooooooooooooooooooom (don't mind that wire mess on the plug on the fusebox, its just the CEL wire, I jumped it when trying to figure out why my car would not start and did not have a CEL.. just havn't made it pretty again yet)

do the seats also have the same pattern as the panels?
