My name is asha, I'm from indiana, and my dads for bmw was a ti and I wanted to get one too. Lots of good memories. I joined like, 2 years ago because my dad had a blue 318ti, and I was looking up information for him, well we found a wrecked e36 m3 that we swapped over and etc....so now we have race car. lol. with 2:93's in the rear it will do 142mph in 4th gear around 3k rpm 's. But I just recently bought a 318ti, with a bad auto tranny for 1600$ NO RUST. I was searching for about a month or two, and it popped up an hour away, I talked to the dude for about 3 days then I came home with it. Currently I have the door panels off to replace the attachment rivet thingy's (I know, best word to use right?) and fix the window slide rails, one is bent and the other doesnt have a plastic piece casuing it to come off track. I have a e36 325is that I plan to take the m52 out of, turbo, and put a getrag 250 in. That won't be for a while. In the next month or two I plan on fixing all the little stuff and converting the m44 to manual so I can daily drive it for about a year or so, and actually learn how to drive the car.
