Default Central Locking System Does Not Work

Hey

Ever since owning my car i've hated the fact that I could not unlock the passenger door while unlocking my door. I now have learned that I should be able to do so. It seems that it's the Central Locking System.... I can not unlock all doors from the driver's door, the passenger door or the hatch... How would I know if my car was equipped with it, my car is a 03/1995 ... And if it's equipped how could I make it work.... I already checked the fuses ...

Any help

Thanks

Al

I don't believe it came on the 95 models, only on 96-99. You don't even have an unlock/lock button on your center console right?

No I don't have the button... I thought no one but the European's had the button..

If I were to purchase a BMW alarm... would I be able to unlock the doors with the remote?

Since you have a 95 you don't have it and i don't think you can add it. Even if you could add it i don't think it would be worth the hassle.
