It's welded chromoly design is far superior than the "hinged" aluminum/carbon fiber strut braces which are merely cosmetic. This brace will also clear the intake manifold on our m42 and m44 engines unlike the standard e36 strut braces that go straight across on 6cyl applications. Anyway, I found this while browsing craigslist, perhaps someone here might be interested: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv...048368290.html | | | 02-24-2009, 07:40 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: NJ Posts: 1,625 | nice - I want! that'll fit over a dasc, right? __________________ SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD!SOLD! I've seen people use regular e36 strut braces with the DASC. NA m42/m44's need high-rise strut braces to clear the upper intake manifold. A DASC'd motor eliminates the manifold, therefor will work with either type of strut brace. | | | 02-24-2009, 08:19 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | email sent, hopefully I'll get it before marko __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36.
