My buddy Kyle will hopefully be out this weekend to put in more time on the bay. I have a pending order on ECS for the tensioner plug and washer, as well as all new bolts for the front suspension. I am trying to replace almost every bolt with a new one for peace of mind. When I did the rear suspension I didn't really care all that much. Now I feel like rusty hardware was half-assing it and I feel like ripping it back out to replace all of that as well. I have also been thinking about my rear shock mounts. I have some decently new e46 m3 convertible mounts installed now, but I didn't have new washers, nuts, and gaskets when I put them in. I have been thinking about doing the GC tall RSM's to gain some dampening in the rear, but I think that would limit my airing up height due to the Mustang shocks already being really short. I am also hearing about Camaro rear shocks lately and am wondering how they compare length wise and stiffness wise to the mustang shocks. Does anybody have any info on this? __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 02-20-2014, 09:43 PM | #438 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Currently I have these molding badges I have never been a huge fan of them since my car isn't an ///M car. However, I have always been a huge fan of these Since I have ///M parts this seems more fitting and looks a little nicer. Thoughts? __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 02-20-2014, 10:16 PM | #439 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Miami, FL Posts: 874 | Go for it man they look sweet __________________ Mods: 325is zender spoiler, 3" carbon fiber antenna, 5% tints rear windows, black out grills, Fogged air intake, Ds1 wheels, Rokkor coilovers, bilstein rear shocks, blacked out tails and home made angel eyes | | | 02-21-2014, 01:35 AM | #440 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | I like that look too Earl. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 02-24-2014, 11:39 PM | #441 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Not a ton done this weekend. Saturday I went out to the shop and threw my front subframe and sway bar in the trunk to clean up at work this week. I think I will have my front subframe reinforcements TIG'd in at work as well. My proper Adams Rotors came and I also picked up my powdercoated calipers, carriers, and knuckles. I also ended up talking to a guy who does vector images and asked how he does them. I realized I didn't have the tool to do it, but he offered to do one of my car. He did an awesome job. He even modeled my AC Schnitzer Mirrors. His name is Artur Borovik. Here is his portfolio: http://arturborovik.com/ __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 02-27-2014, 02:30 AM | #442 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | Looking good! You know with that ///M trim your probably going to generate some hate from the purist who will cry foul at M parts on a non M, M44 powered hatch. At least the .org is a lot friendlier then other forums in that regard. __________________ ***328ti Build thread. *** Even more important: SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! He wanted to make custom badges for me and we are in the process of making a set. Here is the general idea: __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 02-27-2014, 02:39 AM | #444 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | Quote: Originally Posted by Earl M42 powered=) But my friend and I came up with another solution that I somehow failed to post. Depending on how mine turn out, he may make more. They're obviously going to be vinyl layed on the backing plate and then a heavy layer of silicone spray overtop to make them look OEM. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 02-27-2014, 02:49 AM | #446 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | Quote: Originally Posted by Earl We were discussing that option. Plus, if the M-Technic ones are just stickers, these definately aren't oem ones. All the badges that BMW produced for the mouldings were single plastic badges that need to be clipped into your moulding, they never officially sold stickers for that, at least not in Germany =) | | | 02-27-2014, 02:54 AM | #448 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Thank you. Check in here soon to see how they work out=) I am hoping to start accomplishing more to liven up this thread now that I placed another ECS order today. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 02-27-2014, 04:50 AM | #449 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | The rendering of your car is awesome Earl! __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 02-27-2014, 09:48 AM | #450 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Thanks=) I was so pumped.
