Hi guys,

A bunch of BMW guys from here and other forums will be going up to NED (New England Dragway) Friday night 5/30/08 for some 1/4 mile drag racing. You can go up to race or just spectate. Come meet other members and also checkout some cool cars. Gate opens at 5pm but you can arrive anytime after that.

$10 entrance/spectate
$20 entrance/car/driver (race)

Check out their site for details and directions

Same here Larry, I had a great time at the autocross. I can't wait until Friday, I hope that the car will do better than the 13.17.

Do you think that the tires are wide enough for the HP the car makes.

I was thinking of 255/40/17 rear and 245/45/17 front or Larry you could sell me you D force wheels.

I'm going to try to get there. What time are you guys showing up? I'll try to squeeze as much work in and try to miss traffic at the same time. I'll have the camera & tripod in hand. Also where do you guys hang out when I get there? I'll try to find you guys.

After the entrance follow road to pit lane then turn left into gravel pit. You will see all the bimmers in the gravel pit area. Look for red ti, white 135i, blue sc e46 sedan first then white and black ti. Most people will be there after 6pm other than the die hard racers. Track opens at 5pm and line up for tech inspection if racing.

jon fill the tank today or early tomorrow. I better get a ride in it this time!!! 1.5 hour ride is the usual trip from Boston. Just checked the forums and there'll be at least 15 BMWs going up.

Don't forget we need to take some 318ti group pictures.

Yeah to crispy pics of my and jonchino's cars!

Had a great time meeting/hanging with you guys, and too bad about Dan's diff. Using Mickey Thompson racing slicks was really straining that diff, which we all know is a weak point on these swap cars. Time for a beefy one!

Dan, I do have my 3.45 open diff w/half shafts that is usable for now, if you want 'em.

After NED, jonchino, stealthbimmer and I went down to china town, grabbed some food. Took some shots of our cars in a good ol' back alley. I'll get my very limited, very few NED pics up soon as well.

No editing (other than plate bluring), or post processing, other than rotating the picture.
Yeah, they could be better (shadows/tripod/angles etc...) but it was like 1 AM and I was tired. jonchino's nitrous purge btw.
