I think the yellow draw too much attention. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 09-26-2006, 05:14 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Southern California Posts: 208 | I like the yellow fogs a lot, but if you want a change just remove the Lamin-x. Whatever you do, don't take them off your car. | | | 09-26-2006, 06:53 PM | #7 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | Keep the fog lights; loose the yellow tint. If you had a yellow car, it might look good. I don't care for the super-rare French yellow fog lights either... There is a factory clear lens protector that keep them from getting sand-blasted. Highly recommended! | | | 09-26-2006, 11:00 PM | #8 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Keep them on the car. I have lamin-x on my fogs but in blue. I'd suggest lamin-x to anyone exspecially if your lenses crack alot from rocks. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 09-27-2006, 01:28 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: SOUTH Jersey Posts: 1,085 | I would think a light layer of tint to "smoke" them would look good too. | | | 10-01-2006, 09:18 PM | #10 | Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: D.C. I'll post a pic next time I take the fogs out. | | | 02-20-2007, 04:44 PM | #12 | Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Methuen, MA Posts: 72 | Personally, I'd add more yellow accents to the car to balance the yellow in the lights. If not, I'd go with clear fogs. But I would definitely keep them. | | | 02-20-2007, 05:12 PM | #13 | Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Cincinnati Posts: 41 | I would do smoked or clear fogs, the yellow ones don't look right | | | 02-20-2007, 07:00 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: SOUTH Jersey Posts: 1,085 | what about getting some brake ducts instead of running blanks? | | | 02-20-2007, 07:23 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: maritimes Posts: 1,433 | check ebay out... there are some real nice looking 'smoked' foglights.. the looks sweet and probably would look great on a black car __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | error code p1174 | dougadesign | Maintenance | 3 | 07-31-2008 08:53 PM | |
