They just don't get it when I tell them it came like that from the factory. | | | 11-16-2013, 04:30 AM | #247 | Member Join Date: Oct 2013 Location: usa Posts: 39 | Quote: Originally Posted by elchicano - When you don't know how to turn off you rear wiper.

I can relate totally to almost everything you say about the 318ti cause it is all true....but how do you get the darn door panel off drivers side? It has me stumped.... | | | 12-16-2013, 12:34 AM | #252 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Quote: Originally Posted by dsamuel565 I can relate totally to almost everything you say about the 318ti cause it is all true....but how do you get the darn door panel off drivers side? It has me stumped.... | Two screws (Torx on mine), 1 screw is located at the base of the large handle. Another is hidden behind the power mirror switch (which just pops out). 10 pop off clips, then move the whole panel up to detach from clips at the interior window molding. Don't forget to disconnect the speakers and mirror switch! __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. It has me stumped.... | Lower the window first. Using a prying tool with good leverage, start at lower, left hand corner of the panel. Then pry, using steady pressure. Don't be afraid of breaking anything. The plastic mounting parts glued to the panel may come off with the panel, but they can be successfully glued back, stronger, with JB Weld. Good luck! Currently needing fixed..heater bowden cable, driver/passenger window regs, ignition barrel (screwdriver method stripped out..using a custom made round file with a t handle..lol), passenger door handle..outside is definitely in its last days... but then I look at the fact the car has almost 216k on it (95 Active) All in, a few hundred $$ will make it good as new..cant beat it, and so fun to drive. Even more coming since I've decided to keep it now.. Misery loves company so keep posting guys!
