Driver's Seat--Light Gray Leather

Greetings everybody,

I've been avoiding my driver's seat situation for a while now, but need to really address it.
I've a '98 Avus/Light Gray Leather with standard seats. The driver's seat is torn, cracked, flat,
everything that happens to a seat after strong driving, denim jeans, and loads of
sun from the Cali roof. So, I'm exploring options: re-stuff and replace the leather or
just replace the seat itself. I've lightly explored ebay for E36 front seats of the same ilk.

I'd like to reach out to you all first. Anyone have a driver's seat of the same color and material?
I've thought about getting the sport seat, cloth/leather mix (I do miss my 320i cloth seats!), but
I'd like to see what the prospects are for replacing the stock seat first. What ya think/have?

Separately,
anyone catch the strong hatchback interest in the latest Roundels? Kinda ironic, really.
There are some cool letters this month and in the "Tech Talk" there is a letter about someone
exploring a used 320i. The editor's reply reminds me of my TI and why it's such a gem--even
in the face of the 1 series.
