According to there applications is says it will fit a bmw 96 318Ti but along with the part description is also notes that it comes with H7 bulbs which is not what i use with my car...my fogs are H1's did anyone come across this same problem? I ask you all b/c i get no response from them with this issue. Also wanted to know if there was an adapter you can buy to adapt from H7 bulb to H1 plug harness. I know i dont need this to make it work but dont want to jerry rig this!! Thanks! | | | 07-04-2007, 01:36 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | One would think that the H7 bulbs are compatible with the factory wiring harness for the fog lamps, but I don't own them so I can't tell you. If no one else can tell you, I'm sure you'd get further just giving them a call. __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . If you have to reuse the "cap" on the factory fog (which IMHO makes the design stupid), it shouldn't be too difficult to crimp a new connector on the ground wire to fit an H7. A quick trip to RadioShack will solve all. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 07-11-2007, 01:29 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: New Jersey Posts: 15 | Thanks! | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
