Default Looking for some good exhaust solutions

My muffler is disconnected from my exhaust, which has a hole in it. I am looking at some fairly cost effective solutions that will make my car sound good but not break my bank. My car sounds fairly nice(but loud) at the moment but it is bearable. Anyways here are a list of pros and cons I've come up with for each of the solutions I've been thinking about

Cherrybomb Glasspack(with cats and resonators)

pros: cheap($150 at most incl. parts and labor), better fuel economy, more power on high end

cons: fairly loud(maybe bearable) idk, less power on low end

Magnaflow 14815 Muffler

pros: sound as nice as exhausts that cost up to 2 or 3x as much but not too loud, about $250

cons: more on the pricey side with parts and labor coming to about $350, have to modify the exhaust cutout on the bumper(which can cost extra)

I don't feel like spending money on a catback because I feel there isn't much power to be had from putting on an aftermarket exhaust(especially at the prices that most of them are at)

I'm looking for more pros and cons from each of these choices, and more solutions are always welcome too!

Flowmaster 2-chamber piped in place of your OEM muffler with a chrome tip out the bumper. It should quiet it down a bit and make a nice note. Muffler $65 and work maybe $50. These are prices at my local muffler shop

A Cherrybomb would be ridiculously loud, while a Magnaflow would only be 'very loud'. I used to have a Magnaflow on my ti and eventually removed it because I felt it was too loud at freeway speed. You can get a Bosal OEM replacement cat-back from a number of places online for under $200 and if the exhaust system hasn't previously been chopped up, it is a bolt-on replacement.

I replaced my Magnaflow with an Eberspaecher OEM catback and the tone and performance are great. Paid about $275 for it from PartsGeek.

There are different types of Magnaflows.
I had one without packing material that made my teeth fillings loosen up.
I couldn't hear myself think.
I replaced it with another Magnaflow with packing material that I like very much.
Hard to tell which has material and which doesn't.

I also found Summit Racing having the best prices.

bought a Magnaflow 14815, it sounds like it would be nice and throaty. Thanks for everybody's input!

"Throaty" is a relative term on a 4-banger, but congrats, good luck with the install, and post some sound clips if you can when it's all done!

I have the OBX catback for Z3 and it required one weld before the resonator, slightly opened the bumper cuout and that's it.

It is VERY quiet but does have a nice growl and it looks 100X better -

Almost like OEM civic SI if anyone knows what I mean.

$250 shipped and maybe $40 for install - took me 1/2hr.

Didn't really want a magnaflow, plus the OBX has a nice oval tip and the whole thing is polished SS.
