Default Help Check Engine light

My check Engine light goes on and off. Does anyone in New Jersey have a Oil Service Light Reset Tool with Engine Fault Code Reader - for 1995 ti? I just need to get the faulty code of my car...

Keep trying the instructions in that thread. That is the proceedure. I have at times presse the gas pedal down too quickly or not completely to the floor and it didn't work. But this is the free way to get the codes on an obd1 car.

To clear the code, disconnect your battery and wait an hour or disconnect both leads and cross them for 5 seconds, reconnect and go. Keep in mind, if you have a radio code you will need to know it if you want to listen to it again, AND you will need to re-initialize your windows for the one click up to work.
