I dont like it and its way too buzzy and loud. Im looking for a quiet ride as possible. What parts am I missing to make it 100% stock again? Im assuming all I need is the top part, a filter, and some sort of clip to hold the MAF to the airbox? and while im at it, well, if anyone is looking to dump their oem setup, why dont you send me an IM ?? | | | 09-21-2005, 04:12 PM | #2 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | I've never seen that b4,thats a first. Just put on the regular air filter box. I know someone on here was selling there stock airbox and if you put that in it will be quiet. You have half of the stock setup in there. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 09-21-2005, 04:17 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Iowa Posts: 54 | sounds even more ghetto then it looks. Get a stock airbox back, get an ITG or K&N panel filter, and fog it. | | | 09-21-2005, 04:28 PM | #5 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by maxt sounds even more ghetto then it looks. The car only had 40K miles on it when removed. Quote: Originally Posted by maxt This is the air intake set up my TI came with. I dont like it and its way too buzzy and loud.
