Hey guys, in a serious response to this topic.

When I first purchased my ti..... I read, & I saw video of the epic socal ti meet. I know a few guys are out right now...ie(swaps & personal lives). And lets face it, times have changed.

But can we one day duplicate that infamous socal meet. There was like 13+ ti's that met up that day.......sick.

waiting.............

well i'm always down to meet up again. do a caravan somewhere to hang out. but it seems only a hand full are still active. jess is the only one we're waiting for to finish the epic project. Remember jess, you only have like a little under 2 months now til bimmerfest.

umm... this saturday, anything really. i know last week you were tired of the jetlag and all so it was chill. maybe we should go get that lip you like and trade in Frank's E46 style bumper for something useful. tell him i'll give him motor parts for it

Default Suggested meet at BMW of Monrovia

Gang, There is going to be a big deal meet at BMW of Monrovia (across the freeway from the Walmart where we started the Bimmerfest caravan a while ago).

The LA Chapter of the BMW Club is having its 40th anniversary on April 11 at the BMW Center. There will be a display, one car from each of the 40 years (1970 to 2010), and RC autocross (Fast time wins the RC car), food and a tour through the surrounding area. My wife and I are writing the tour. found some great roads in the area.

Would like to see as many of the SoCal Ti gang that can come.

$7.50 per person for the food and RC entry. See the application at http://bmwclubla.org and send it in.

DUMB A$$ trying to show off got him right there.
I've seen that happen at least three times at various car rallies throughout the years. Every time, it was someone trying to show off that obviously had limited driving skills. The best one was at a Camaro meet (I also own an IROC convertible) about 10 years ago where someone who thought he could drive lit 'em up, lost control, and plowed into a cherry '69 Camaro. I thought I was going to be witness to a murder that night...

Default BMW Club LA's 40th.

There will be vendors there from BMW Performance, and others. I don't have the list, that is being handled thru the BMW Center. If you have someone you would like to see there, please invite them. Bring an Eazy-up, a table, whatever materials are appropriate and we will fit them into the vendor area. We just ask not to bring vendor's that are in direct competition to BMW of Monrovia, as we are their guests.

See ya in two weeks.

Anybody go to the Pre-Mfest yesterday after Cars & Coffee?

Default We are having a nice drive around the Monrovia area...

Just before the 40th Anniversary Party, my wife and I are writing a short rally/tour in the surrounding area. Some beautiful old homes and some pretty nice new ones too. Plus a couple driving loops up into the foothills above town. Starts at 9:30 and you should be back in time for the RC Auto-cross (winner takes the car a 1:10 scale Z4). Then there will be food and vendors and what not.

Hope to see you guys there. If you want to come and can dig up $7.50 for lunch, the RC auto-cross, raffle and so on, send in an application so we know how much food to get. Might even be a world premier of the latest BMW there to see as well.

go to http://bmwclubla.org/index.php for more info.

Sunday April 11, 2010 from 11 til about 2 and the tour is at 9:30 if interested in some driving.

CYA there.
