Its so your not a cyclops if one headlight is out. Essentially if you delete them its a "I getta pull you over any time I want card" for any cop who feels like it. Also in a highway safety inspection (Which some states pull randomly) You could end up retrieving your car from impound. Loooks good. But I never make it a freebie for the police. Just me...
