Default Mav Graduated

Hey guys, I've finally finished high school. My graduation ceremony is on June 2nd and 3rd.

I've decided that I'm gonna go to a community college for 2 years, then move to a real college after wards. I'm trying to decide if I want to get further into web designing/server maintenance, or engineering. If I get into engineering, I want to study how to make efficient cars with the right type of materials.

I'll probably enter in the spring of next year. I need to make some money first

Congrats, If you can, make sure that the classes from the community college will transfer into credits for the 4 year school. You'd have to know where you wanted to go after CC but they should have a database saying what 4 year schools accept their credits for the different classes.

Also, I just found out that my local CC now has a program where the first 2 years of a major can be taken there and then the last 2 years can be finished at UMD, if you have anything like that I highly recommend taking that (if it is a major you are interested in) it saves a lot of money in the long run.

I spent a semester at CC and then went to Maryland. I probably learned more in the CC classes than I have at some of these UMD classes. The individual attention at a CC just can't be beat by a big school.

Congratulations.

If you are a good student, try to go the long haul for college.

You'll enjoy your college years more, meet intelligent girls and have a more valuable degree.

Nothing wrong with an associates degree, but it is harder to go back to school once you are working somewhere.

Ask me how I know.

Cool Congrats Mav

Life lesson after college - you get to start at the bottom and work your way back up.

It's a vicious cycle!

Yea, I know that. That's why i'm doing the 2 year CC, then 2 years at TSTC.
