Hi, I just got back from the auto-x down in Walesboro, IN. It was a pretty good time. I got in a total of three runs, but I had to stop due to mechanical problems. (some sensor I think) car throws a CEL and won't idle without stalling. Other than that it was a great time. My guess is that it is some sensor. Symptoms are that the car won't idle. Runs very rich. On the way back I manage dot actually shoot a couple flames . That was at least entertaining. The car runs poorly in the low RPM range. Throttle is like and on off switch. Ok car is now fixed. The problem was that two vaccum hoses connected to the throttle body and idle control valve had split from old age/oil blow-by/strees/moisture/heat.
