I did some checking into this awhile back, and heard that they either bolted right in or that some very minor drilling (enlarging) of two of the mounting holes was needed. Really only need a constant 12V power supply and a ground for seat power (not including dealing with heating elements), and the seat belt receptacles should be swappable if the plugs are different from the e36. If you pick them up, post up your experience! __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. IIRC, they did have to enlarge the holes, but otherwise the studs were in the same locations. Power seat motors have a lot of torque, so you'll probably want to use heavier guage wire than say interior lamp or stereo wire. Also, I'd imagine they draw a lot of amperage, so you'll want to find out the correct amp fuse BMW used and go from there. I'll look for the link and post back in a few. Edit; you'll need to drill new holes in the seat rails and cut a small section out of the "H" beam. Also worth noting, you should use seats out of a coupe as sedan seats don't tilt forward to allow access for rear passengers. E46 seats will work, but require a little more modification. The guy explains it in post # 18 of this thread: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1799449 | | | 08-24-2012, 04:26 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | Hmm. I need to get back there.. I need to make sure they are coupe seats. ANd I could measure the ones in my E46...
