I've only participated in a few BMWCCA events, but my favorite has been the car clinic where I was able to do some braking exercises, the skid pad, and slalom. Nowadays, I just like to take advantage of the parts discount. __________________ moku 1996 318ti Cali Top w/ Downing/Atlanta Supercharger 2003 M3 w/ CSL trunk, splitters, & diffuser | | | 11-22-2005, 04:29 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Park City, Utah Posts: 30 | No if's and's or but's join the BMWCCA. You get a 15-20% discount on parts and supplies from your local dealer, 12 issues of a very professional club magazine (and its a real magazine with great articles and info), local chapter membership and it's news letter. You can participate in Autocross, Driver's schools, Saftety/Car handling schools, Rally/Fall fun tours, Club racing, Concourse, club social events and gatherings, $500-$1500 off your new or CPO purchase of a BMW (after 1/yr of being a member). All for $40/yr, need I say more. __________________ David '97 318ti, '97 318is, '96 Z3, '95 M3 (club racer) | | | 11-22-2005, 05:41 PM | #5 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Yep i'm a member, haven't gone to any events yet plus there is none around me. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 12-06-2005, 06:20 AM | #6 | Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: in the puddle... They keep telling me that the over the phone purchasing discount is more than the BMWCCA discount, so they don't discount for membership. Something about that seems wrong. I will ask them in more detail, next time I buy parts from them. Quote: Originally Posted by cossieturbo saved so much with part discounts that I would never do without a BMWCCA membership. When you join the BMWCCA you are assigned a chapter based on your zip code unless you ask for another chapter. Go to http://www.bmwcca.org/members/AM/Tem...ersSection.cfm and enter your zip code to find your local chapter. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti 2003 MINI Cooper S 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 01-04-2006, 04:38 AM | #15 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! You don't deserve such a fine car if you won't do an oil change! Get the companion too. I'm in that book along with an amazing number of other great people, so if you break down somewhere, you can find someone nearby to help out (even if you are too cheap to do an oil change). | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
