John Paul, I understand your frustration ,,, BUT,, In the end the owner is responsible for his employees actions. I understand the guy screwed you, but your company hired him. AND you didn't keep a close enough eye on him evidentially. Your Mistake, nothing lasts like bad press.. "The driver is responsible at all times for the actions of his crew...." When someone on this forum notices anything that may prevent another episode I prefer them to post. When I see consistent positive posting about KO from different members with history then I'll believe it. So far your getting good press.... Keep it up! Until then,,, you should keep the sarcasm/temper level under control. Take it and be positive, so far personally,, you've ticked me off more than proven your point by the "tone" of your responses. I handle a lot or purchasing contracting etc in the construction arena, with me as a customer you get 1 chance only. I don't care why how or what happened, you don't deliver you are gone, you never get another chance. I'm very upfront with my expectations with all the vendors and subcontractors. Because of that I get contractors specifically trying for the jobs I'm running, because I don't tolerate anything that would put my projects at risk. Therefore everybody benefits, because nobody gets shorted time, safety, profit, etc. Best of luck, keep plugging and prove the quality is lasting.... I still have an extremely sour taste in my mouth from the last KO episode. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 03-20-2007, 02:54 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Yeah Dusten, but I think this is general knowledge for most members here. A simple, factual and short post inside a KO thread alerting members to past troubles is probably the best. Otherwise it comes off as vendetta and I'm suspect of that too. He can't be screwing everyone over with all those group buys. As for me, given his x-brace bumper hype vs. factual understanding of our cars and the fact I could not find my car listed on his website leads me to want to support someone else-and I will. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 03-20-2007, 08:00 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | I got a letter from Steve last night not to e-fight with KO. Mistakes were made. 2. We understand what happened.(According to responses from KO) 3. Prove your customer service is improving. 4. Don't act needlessly hostile when people question. 5. Expect to be questioned until the good press outweighs the bad. 6. Now you have to be BETTER than average to straighten things out. When all this happens the good will returns. I tried to keep it to these basic thoughts without holding too hard onto past experiences. I dodged a bullet because I just got a bad feeling on the phone and decided to think things over before I ordered, it was like a day later when the "fireworks" went off. I hope KO proves out, we need good vendors.
