Default Vibration Absorber for Auto Tranny?

I'm trying to isolate my car's vibration problem. Even though I've already replaced both the motor and tranny mounts, I still suspect that the ones I've purchased may have been faulty.

Browsing thru the ETK, I noticed the following:

http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...24&fg=10&hl=32

NUMBER 9... vibration absorber.

Anyone have experience with this item?
I'm not exactly under my car at the moment, but anyone know where exactly this is located, and if it really does that job its listed as?
