I have springs, shocks, and sway bars. all have less then 1000 miles. Any idea ? I know the swaybars will work but not sure for the rest | | | 10-31-2007, 02:08 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Seattle, WA Posts: 402 | Front struts won't work, but the rear shocks/springs/sways will work nicely. You'll need slightly modify the sway bar end link mounts to fit. There are threads on here regarding how to do that. __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 10-31-2007, 03:33 AM | #3 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | I was thinking about using Z3 struts in the front, do you happen to know what the difference is Larry? I looked on realoem and they use the same kingpin as the Ti, so They should bolt right up. I'm wondering if they're shorter. I'm currently running Z3 springs on my car and they fit perfectly. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 10-31-2007, 12:51 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Seattle, WA Posts: 402 | The front struts on a MZ3 have different lower mounting points, and does not have the mid-strut pivot perch for the top of the king-pin. I can't answer regarding a regular Z3. Sorry. When I was doing my suspension a couple weeks ago, my buddy had his race prepped M Roadster here, and we did his front suspension at the same time. __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 11-01-2007, 04:23 AM | #5 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by larryn The front struts on a MZ3 have different lower mounting points, and does not have the mid-strut pivot perch for the top of the king-pin.
