Default Panic!

Hi

Jacked up car and notice when holding from right tyre and wiggle (hold ing wheel at 15 mins past and left at 45 mins past on a clock) moving right hand away from me whilst left towards me and vice versa, notice some play and slight noise.

Holding top of wheel and bottom of wheel. no movement

Starting to panic as worry this is not safe for my wife and kids to be in.

Any help and advice will be much appreciated

When driving notice slight veering all of a sudden but alway put it down to tram lining in road.

Steering heavy and not put chain lube on U join as suggested on here.

Any help and advice will be much appreciated

Regards
Nick

Sometimes indicative of worn control arm bushings - how much play? If the bushings are worn, you can generally see the control arm stub moving in the bore of the bushing. I tend to think of suspension problems as being annoyances, rather than safety concerns.
