Some of you may remember me since I posted for advice on car repairs a couple months back. Well now I'm selling my car since I can't afford and don't have time to take care of the repairs.
General Info: '96 5 speed, just over 100k, green, sunroof, clean cloth interior.
Here are the issues with the car: The instrument cluster has a problem with the relay so the instrument panel doesn't work. I was told it doesn't have to be replaced, just repaired. When the panel went it the mileage was 99,800 and I've driven it maybe another 500 miles since. That's a big maybe though, it's probably less than that. I have a scooter that I drive to work, so the car has only be driven a handful of times since.
Hairline fracture in the oil pan. I was told the pan doesn't need to be replaced since it's a hairline split. The mechanic I took it to said it could be welded.
Small issues it incurred because of hurricane Ike: antena broke off because of the high winds, small scratches on the driver side door because the leaves of a palm tree scratched against it. It did NOT flood or anything like that.
The car has a 6 disc CD changer in it, but one day it just stopped working. I never used it, so I never bothered finding out what happened to it.
Left side mirror magically fell out of the holder one day, so it is taped in.
I know it sounds like a lot of issues, but the car really isn't in bad shape. I just wanted to list everything out so that if anyone is interested, they know all that is going on with it.
I'm willing to consider all serious offers. Keep in mind though, I put about 2k into the car over the last year (fuel pump replaced, new driver side window arms and motor, 02 sensors replaced) and it has incredibly low mileage, so I'm not looking to give it away.
I have more pictures, so you can email me if you want them:
