Default My ti on life support.

Yesterday may have marked the end of an era. I got hit from behind sitting in traffic. Four car chain reaction hit. I was number three in line and the guy I was pushed into took off. Probably had no insurance or drivers license. So anyway based on the damage on my front end and the value of my car it will probably be a total loss. The value on my 97 ti is probably somewhere around $1000 to $2000 at best. The damage at todays rates will probably exceed that by a large margin. I have to wait for the insurance adjuster to do his thing and then see what happens. In the mean time I am looking at other cars. Unfortunate I can not afford another BMW of any model. Considering the cheapest one today starts at $34,000. Not interested in a used one. People do not take care of their cars like they used to years ago.

Sorry to hear

There are still a few well taken care of used cars out there, so don't give up on that. Also, see if you can find some listings for similar ti's to show the value to the insurance company, blue book low-balls us unfortunately.
