We are aiming to get a running prototype going by mid summer at the latest so that we can get the appropriate amount of mileage on the system to make sure there will be no reliability issues. And yes the system will be intercooled we are finishing up the design for the intercooler system this month. If you guys would like more information feel free to PM me. Thanks for the interest and if you guys have any comments at all feel free to either PM me or post them Im open to all of your ideas. Thanks!

Haha I cant say it was purchased specifically for the project more like a daily driver to offset the gas guzzling E30 M60 project car we are working on. But we will be using it as a test bed and we have one BETA tester setup to test the system and provide us with non biased feed back. We are currently talking to Whipple to try and get the correct size compressor we need but they havent put it into production yet. Let me know if you guys have questions!

So this system may produce more power than the DASC but it may cost more?

We are aiming for around the same pricing, lower if possible but im not going to be making any promises until we have a running prototype. We are targeting the DASC as a baseline for power production, fit, finish, and reliability. But with the components and design we are using we should easily surpass the DASC but again im going to leave that up to you guys who get to see it in person and get to drive the test car (People in Colorado) and for the people who beta the system. Thanks for your questions keep them coming!

Well guys I got off the phone with Whipple and they are not producing the supercharger we were going to be using for the M44 system. But this turned out to be a blessing in disguise as I called Saleen (FORD TUNING, THE S7 www.saleen.com) and they are going to be our source for twin screws systems. These are actually more efficient than the Whipple units and it allows us to draw from the engineering and testing done by Saleen. The Saleen units are also Lysholm twin screw superchargers like the Whipple but with Saleen being a much larger company we wont have the fluctuations in parts supply. So everything is looking really good for the M44 System and if you have any comments or questions feel free to post them and I will answer as soon as I can!

I for one would like to complement your communications here- it is very encouraging and exciting to say the least. I look forward to a great product! Thanks for developing this.

I can vaguely remember one member disconnecting his a/c on the M44 for performance reasons. It is the odd duck for M44's. Maybe more common for those who have swapped to 6cyl.

At current we dont have any plans for the M42 but that is simply because we do not currently have the time or a car for a test bed. Alaska blue feel free to PM me with any information you may want or have for me and maybe we can work together to figure something out. 96Cali, thank you for your compliment and I look forward to working with all of you on building this system!

Haha looks quite familiar, I will be releasing some watered down (dont want to give away all of the goodies) computer models in a couple of days as a sort of teaser. I just need to figure out how to post pictures.....hmm, any help on that would be nice. I will see what we can do on the M42 as it looks quite easy besides having the restriction of the AFM and some other small things but nothing that we cant deal with. Models will be coming soon!
