Anybody playing the new seasonal races? damn, those are a challenge, but big payout if you win. The closest ive got was placing 2nd on the SSR5 using a R35 GTR-Vspec full weight reduction, suspension, tranny, and aero parts....im posting consistant 1:28-1:29 laps but im still 4-5 seconds away from being 1st. I would've given up on this race already if it werent for the 1 mil reward.

I am... I am happy there are events that actually pay out!

I just beat the SSR5 challenge and the Deep Forest challenge... the Deep Forest took me a few times before I finally got 1st. Aside from the money, these events pay huge in points. Thanks to the seasonal challenge I am now level 25 and that opened up the endurance events.

Nice! What are your lap times like for SSR5? I'd like to know what I need to aim for. I've been playing it over and over, plus tweaking my setup, and I just can’t seem to shave off any more time. I’m a lost cause for deep forest...Best I’ve placed is 3rd with about 10 seconds behind 1st…. I have no idea how im gonna beat that, or the Challenger race, in which I have only placed 4th after repeated tries . are you using a wheel?

I am not sure what my lap times were with the SSR5 but I was using the 09 spec V.

All of the cars get faster when you dial back the traction control so you may want to try that.

The trick to the Challenger one was to add a transmission with a 5th gear... the car tops out at less than 120 without it... add a 5th and you will get to nearly 150 as you pass everything!

I am just using a controler, no fancy here.
