the car had 187,xxx miles on it.

the first one is OBDI...he needs a direct swap...OBDII
i think the other motor would be too much of a nightmare...he wants reliability...and stock if possible.

i typed bmw engines on craigslist yea i knew the first was an m42 but u never know and the second i just added because it came up. But craigslist would be your best hope to find one local. Unless someone in colorado does a swap i would check bfc too.
