I just took my time to make sure it was centered. __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 02-24-2007, 07:40 PM | #35 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | I actually have the Z-M3 shifter but mistakenly posted as Z3 shifter. I decided not to bend the shifter, and did all the adjustments in the selector rod. That way if I messed up, a new selector rod is cheaper than the shifter. If not this really is a no brainer. RealOEM says $63.05 for the rod (#5 in pic). __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition Last edited by 96cali; 07-15-2009 at 10:27 PM. | | | 03-15-2007, 03:18 PM | #37 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: NJ Posts: 1,625 | | | | 03-15-2007, 05:46 PM | #38 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Land of the Vikings Posts: 2,700 | Quote: Originally Posted by 96cali Mallard- should the Z3 2.8/3.0 rod need bending to fit the Ti?
