easy task, just one 10mm bolt IIRC. You might want to glue the felt lining into the new rail and once you get the rail installed, replace the weatherstripping and do the slam test with the window down a few times to ensure the window stays on track.

First time I worked on my car! Before I always paid a mechanic, but $$$ are low and dreams are high. Two days ago my friend showed me how to change my valve cover gasket, put in new spark plugs, Magnecore wires, and cabin air filters.

Earlier today the car started to overheat. Needle got up to 3/4 mark. Pulled over and opened hood to get some colder air. Couldn't move because of 2 hr. traffic jam caused by accident on bridge. Turned on heater and temp went back to normal. Did search on this forum and figured out its probably fan relay. Called mechanic - $10 for part, no charge for advice.

Mine goes to the 3/4 mark and then the fan kicks on then it goes back to half but the first time it did that i pulled over and shut the car off. i just about crapped my pants when it did it.

Sounds like you might have a bad fan switch...

brought the track car to work to do some last minute work before the autocross, only got about half of it done I managed to change the fluid in the transmission and diff with Redline fluid but I wasn't able to change my diff cover gasket (bolt through the mount was seized) and wasn't able to do the brake fluid flush (LR bleeder rounded by the last person who touched it, RR bleeder snapped off by me)

still need to do the valve cover gasket and spark plugs but I think I'll just do my autocross next weekend and worry about it after, I don't have time to fix any mistakes I might make

I bought some m3 rims and put them on my ti. Not sure if I like them. Chrome on white seems weird to me.

I think they look OK, but it's hard to see the wheel detail in the dark. Is it a '95 or a '96? Either way, definitely looks like it could use the spare Bilstein/H&R suspension setup I have sitting in my garage. Also, if that is a 'sandgrau' interior (looks like it may be), I have a bunch of spare interior pieces if you need anything (shameless plug...)

Where in the LBC are you?

Yeah im gonna start saving up for suspension soon. I really want to find an understated spoiler but I'm not having any luck.

Check engine light came on when I left work for lunch so I parked her in the garage and drove my truck back to work. Guess it's time to buy a scan tool....

Default Today and yesterday... AND last week or so

took a part drivers door panel to see if I can save the regulator arms "again" cleaned up all the goop on the rails, bent it back the best I can I need to get a new slider that fits in rail - bummed to see the damage to the tint after I took the panel off and got to the window - may or may not stop at the tint shop on the way to pick up piece to see what they will do me to redo the window... hope not much... especially since it's already off and would be an easy job.

Yesterday I replaced the outside passenger rtab bushing - made my own tool and worked like a charm. Was going to do the inside but didn't have time to take off brake line to remove bushing and put it all back and bleed before the sun came up! If that brake line was just a 1/2 inch further away I would have had both done... took the car out after replacing that bushing and what a HUGE difference the ride was... sweet is all I can say... and am VERY happy the inside wasn't shot and forced me to stay up all night... BUT... no more jiggly arse!

did the brakes and rotors last week

Just go to your local Advanced Auto and they will scan for free. I got mine scanned because of the engine light the code is about the ABS system. That was all... I knew about that so it's no biggy. Still don't like the light on... but nothing else came up and I simply don't have ABS which is not the end of the world for me.

Went out and started the ti a little while ago and check engine light is now off, guess I'll just keep an eye on it.

Put Zippy up on a lift today. Checked all of the bushings and found nothing worth replacing. I am headed into mechanic mode tomorrow and changing my Guibo and trans mounts.
Also, breaking down my new wheels.
