Well Puget Sound chapter of the BMWCCA had dyno days at RPM. Couldn't help but put the old TI on the Dyno and see how she did.

Results, 132 hp and 124 torque at the rear wheels. Not bad. Both the power and torque curves were very smooth. RPM said that the drive train loss was 18% so hp at the engine is over 160 (pretty close to the 164 claimed by Dinan).

I did four dyno runs and they were almost identical. (Results are in the personal galary).

Anyone else have dyno results?

By the way, modified 325s were turning out 140 hp. They didn't believe how close my four was to their sixs.

Well since I don't see tichick or bimmer95 posting around these parts no more...

I saw their ti hit 190hp last weekend at Dentfest'03 in Columbus OH. They were very pleased. It's a sweeeet ride. I t has a DASC, lightweight fly, Stromung and fogged airbox along with a cali roof and some little tweaks here and there. They're my idols.

Didn't bother dynoing mine. ;}
