It's not my post....but I just saw it and thought someone here might want it....


WILL FIT ECU (261-200-900), 60.00 DOLLARS SHIPPED EMAIL ME AT NOBRAKESE28@YAHOO.COM NICE 19HP UPGRADE, 11lbs OF TORQUE, THIS IS A MUST FOR THE 318, GETS RID OF REV LIMITER ASWELL, GREAT XMAS PRESENT

are there these kinda chips for a m44 *96'* How and where do you put this in. If you say in the computer, where is it located???

The chip is for an M42 engine. OBD-I.
1996 is OBD-II. You can not use it.

OBD-II need to be uploaded to the flash ROM.

Right, so he was asking if the person that has this chip has one for the m44 also?? Anyway, I have a 95 OBD-I and that is not my ECU number. Wish it was...

I emailed the seller of the Dinan Chip. It's for a 92-93 318is, which also has the M42. However, according to the Dinan application chart, this particualr chip has a different Dianan part# than the chip for the 95 318ti. The price is great, but you can't be sure that it's going to work in our cars.

NO! i was NOT asking if he has one for a m44, i was asking if theres a such one for A m44. Jeez, read carefully guys.
