Default ASA AR1 (Black) on my 1995 ti ?? Opinion Please

Hi All, I am looking for a set of 18" wheels that will fit into a reasonable budget and will still perform on the street/track. I have the ASA AR1 front 18x8 & back 18x9 in silver on my 2000 740iL - and they ride and look nice. I need an opinion on if these will survive on the ti under harsh conditions on the street and track (warping, chipping, cracking, etc.)?? Does anyone have any first-hand knowledge on the ASA wheels? Thanks All, ti4me (PS - any other wheels to advise on?)

17" rims are actually best for the ti, 18"s are a little too big

What kind of tracking are you talking about, every once in a while or every weekend? If you track it a lot you should definitely get something wide and light. I wouldn't go over 17"

going to track about 4-6 times a year or so.. i am considering 18" wheels only because i may go to a big brake kit in the future.

Thanks for the info - I may mount one of the 18" AR1's (in silver I have from my 740iL) to see what it looks like (for size only) on my ti this weekend? If the fit looks good I may order up another set for the ti. I am also looking at the OZ Ultraleggerra in black - much more expen$ive but, damn, they look REALLY nice..

i'd def stick to a 17. 18's are too big for the Ti
