Default 2.8L SWAPPED 318ti for sale - $4000

REDUCED TO $3500!

Finally decided to sell my 318ti. Love the car but I just dont have time for it anymore and I am selling it along with my motorcycle and 4x4. The car has 140K on the body, and 178K on the engine.

The good:
It is swapped with a 2.8l m52 from a 328is
Manual zf transmission,
LSD and axles from an e30,
TRM sport tune,
Yokohama tires in great shape,
interior is super clean,
aftermarket headlights (not sure of brand),
new clutch and flywheel,
radiator, water pump, seals on transmission and rear main seal, aluminum cooling parts and housings, shifter bushings, probably more that I am forgetting.

The bad: The ignition key is different form the door key due to swapping steering columns during the swap and losing the key (doh!). I have the old ignition tumbler and a new key can be obtained form the dealer fairly easily.

Door panels are loose, but I have a source for brackets and can include them.

The e30 axles didn't have ABS rings and ABS and CEL are on as a result

Need to reattach various interior panels, just dont have time

My shift knob was stolen along with my radio so no tunes, and crappy shift knob

Need to hook up the A/C with hoses from a e36 coupe.

Larger diff bonks the crossmember when shifting hard. Not a big problem, and many have fixed it by pounding oout some space with a hammer. I never got around to it.

I'm going to miss this car and the community here at 318ti. I have factored the problems into the price but we can haggle a bit within reason.

Thanks!

EDIT: Added interior shots. I have all missing trim peices, just need to be put on. Easy.

Junglejoon@msn.com....

Can you snap a few images of the BAD? Interior as well as some of the after market bits on your list will help me decide to pick this up on my way back from FLA for Spring break.

Is it that the E30 axles aren't compatible with the ABS at all? Looking to swap these into my new Ti project with a 2.93 LSD, but I need ABS to function.

Thanks.

The ABS sensors just need to be shimmed.

Seems to be a realistic price.
I think the slap under acceleration may be a bad u-joint in the diff.
Looks like it just needs some TLC.

GLWS.

I assume for an offer like that it's been sold already or no?

No, it is still here, dreaming about the day Joe985 comes and takes it to its new home.
