Default HELP! door won't open

Went to get out of my car this morning and nothing happened. neither handle work! All the locking mechanisms work but I can't get the door to open. After alot of prying I have managed to get the panel off the door (do you know how hard that is with the door closed?) and fiddled around but I can't feel my way around well enough to figure it out. Any photos of the door latch assembly? suggestions? I need help fast.

Are you still stuck in the car?

Try pushing in hard on the door from the outside and at the same time try and open it. These doors get a lot of use over the years and eventually get out of alignment. A good push (or a hard pull if you're inside) will often allow it to open. If it does then you just need to adjust the lock and latch. Possibly readjust the door hinges but leave that as a last resort. It is amazing how much trouble it can be to get them back to the correct settings once you loosen the hinges. I spent three hours on one door alone.

did they both just stop working at the same time? I know that the car alarm disables the interior door handles, maybe something's wrong with your alarm
