Default ATE Brake Rotors

I was on the tire rack and was looking at these ATE PremiumOne slotted rotors and was wowed by the $44 price per rotor, which seems ridiculously cheap to me. Is there something wrong with these or should I snatch them up before they realize that they made a price error. Also are Powerslots that much better that it would justify the pricing?

That is the right price, OEM engineered and are great rotors. I just got mine installed. If you go to BMP Design they sell them for $36 for the 318ti and $45 if you have a 325 upgrade.

I was surprised as well when I saw the price of $36 at BMP. Then I realized that our cars did not come with vented rotors untill 4/98. I missed the build date by one month I'm guessing that is why our rotors are so cheap. I think I'm jumping up to the 325/328 brakes.

I've got the vented front rotors from ATE, they don't cost much more.

Check my gallery for pics.

Good price for the ATE rotors. For solid blanks I would suggest Brembo or Balo. Hawks HPS or BMW for brake pads.
