The passenger side went in beautifully, plugs matched up bolts were fine, good to go. The driver's side however, one rail seems to be moved forward about 1-2 inches. So only one side will line up at a time. So how do I adjust the rail back so that they are even? I can't seem to find any screws/bolts that would make sense, but nothing looks broken/bent/warped either. | | | 11-11-2007, 03:14 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 11-11-2007, 06:04 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Rails not lining up... Same thing happened during my vader swap a couple of months ago... I set the seat in the car with the RH rails in place, with those bolts only finger tight. Then pull the adjustment lever up and you can slide the LH seat rail so it lines up... From then on it should be plug and play... Good Luck and enjoy those vaders! | | | 11-11-2007, 05:12 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Davidsonville, MD Posts: 68 | Quote: Originally Posted by wolferj Lax; The rails will slide indepently when the Slide Adjustment lever is pulled up.
