thanks, the leather is really stiff so I'll have to put something on it soon, but I have to say, they feel so much better than the regular seats

Lexol or Leatherique... but don't saturate the seams, the threads will rot and break in 6months.

Fixed the shifter button. The old foam in the handle that is used a spring disintegrated. I shoved a bunch of door gasket foam under it and it works OK now.

Brendan... I am afraid that those seats are a little beyond my repair skills... I recommend a fresh covering of duct tape and zip ties to make those right...

Finally drove the car since I haven't driven in since I replaced the tstat. But since I bought an 04 MCS I've been driving that a lot lately. Will have pics of the MCS in a few days once I get my camera new batteries. The Mini has 23k miles

Repaired the front cat pipe. It was cracked due to a broken engine mount. This guy down the street from me tig welded the pipe beautifully.
It was a bitch getting the pipe off of the exhust manifold, but this thread was a huge help:

Thanks Cirrus!

put my new seats in the track rat, much more supportive, I also stripped the rest of the interior since my dad's friend's son just bought an E30 with a beat up blue interior so I sold it all to him for about the same price I bought the sport seats for

(yes, I really used duct tape )

I also took a few pics of it, I don't think I've posted any recent shots of it on here

well the car has been parked for awhile because i drive a work truck which blew a head gasket this week so i am driving the ti for work till they fix/get me a new truck but since i have put it back into commission it has trouble on cold starts so....just pulled of the iacv, maf, hoses, upper intake, and tb and clean it all up. idle is alot better however i couldn't see how it was on cold start because me being the dumb ass that i am forgot to hook up the hose that goes from the intake tube to the injectors and it was pulsing really hard and about to die. and it took me about 3 minutes to find what i missed so now i am waiting for her to cool down. but on the plus side it seemed to run smoother than before.
