The car has 175k, but these cracks have been here for a while I'm sure. Anyway, just wanted to send a note for you guys to check on these rubber intake pieces. I have some motorcycle intake boots that have been around since the 80 that aren't cracked, so these are not very robust. Also, physically remove the boot to inspect it. Second would likely be a clogged CCV and third, oil in the plug wells. And I agree on removing it to inspect it. It's difficult to see underneath it and inbetween the creases. Another method is to spray brake cleaner(not carb cleaner) on and around this boot while the engine is idling. If you hear the engine rev up, you have a leak and this boot is likely suspect.
