Default No Brake lights!!

My right brake light was out so I went to change the bulb. None of the bulbs are burnt out. Now when I apply the brakes none of my brake lights work. My fuse is fine, I changed my brake light switch...nothing. Any ideas of what the problem could be? I live in a city which has some of the worst drivers in the world...I'm tryin' not to get rearended. Help!

Not sure if this will help but mine had the wrong light bulb in it once and it owuld blow the fuse every time. Not sure if its the same problem as you said your fuse looked fine, but make sure they are all correct.

Almost all the books at autoparts stores I've looked at have the wrong bulb number listed. The pins are wrong on the bulb speced in the parts books. It kind of looks like there is a US market specific bulb and the books all carry the "other" number. Take an old bulb and compare the base pins and elements.

Brakte switch! Had the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. It is an electrical component located just on top of your brake pedal. The part cost me $20.00 on ebay and easy to install, just hard to get to. Good luck

I put back all the original bulbs, fuse is not blown...and I replaced the brake light switch. Still nothing. I phoned a garage...he wasn't sure either he said the car isn't old enough to have electrical problems. Is there a ground wire that I may have pulled when I removed the cover to expose the bulbs?
