Just look at the graph of Stage 3 vs Stage 2. The Stage 2 software isn't set to raise the rev limit to 6800 rpm. Expect very close results with that. It just isn't worth it. Stage 2 might be worth $400 extra though. I just can't afford it. | | | 05-21-2007, 04:15 AM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by pnosker Hugo, I'd be interested in Stage 1 GB. Not much in torque. From stage 2 and stage 3 differenecs are 50 dollars, and buying your own HFM. Also is a difference of 5hp. I know it isnt much. But im also raising my boost. Im going with a smaller pulley. Maybe im exagerating, but im hoping the pulley gives me another 10 hp. Anyway, i got the pulley, and hfm ready. Ive been having it ready actually. But my car got messed up so i had to set that back. | | | 05-21-2007, 04:50 AM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Lake Oswego, OR Posts: 136 | i might be in, i know there is a discount if you order it through a shop its the same amount discount as a group buy but what if you order a large about through a shop? is it even more of a discount? | | | 05-21-2007, 04:52 AM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Lake Oswego, OR Posts: 136 | Quote: Originally Posted by pnosker Hugo, I'd be interested in Stage 1 GB. And the stage 2 kit replaces the rrfpr with larger fuel injectors. Its 10x better, ever if it doesn't show up on a dyno. | | | 05-21-2007, 05:25 AM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Stage II doesn't work with a ODB I M42 setup I take it. | | | 05-21-2007, 05:37 AM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: maritimes Posts: 1,433 | i can't promise anything... but if i can get my bills in order and kick the ciggarette habit... and also providing my engine is strong and compression is all on track, I should be able to pull a few grand together by august... __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | 05-21-2007, 06:57 AM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | i might be interested by the end of the summer or so. it just depends on finances and I think i have to move sometime too. I'll give DA a call today. Anyone interested in some H1 HID's!? :-p Also, Hugo.. I know it says all are raised to 6800 rpm but look at the graph. There's no plotting after 6500 rpm. | | | 05-21-2007, 01:27 PM | #27 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Picayune,MS Posts: 19 | Glad to see a Dasc group buy forming. Count me in! We can order before then but they won't ship till October at the earliest. They're overfilled on orders as it is right now. They told me to contact them later for a GB price. Also, I asked about 318is' problem. They will not ship to any foreign countries due to extra work involved and suggested buying locally. I've contacted Understeer.com to see if he'll offer a Group Buy on the DASC so we'll see what he says. -Pat | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
