Got an e30 medium case diff and e30 M3 half shafts... Bigger, beefier diff on left; And the needed body mod for the '95 ti; What should have been a quick swap turned into a little bit more work... Could not get the diff in and lined up... Ended up removing the exhaust, spare tire, and entire driveline to get the diff in place. Just had to re-set the center support bearing after we got the driveline back in... Real snug fit, but no binding and the bearing is perfectly centered in the housing... Didn't shim the ABS sensors enough, ended up slightly damaging one, so those will have to be replaced. No dash light or code, but I will replace them soon enough anyway. Sorry, no more pictures, as I was way too dirty to handle the camera or phone after that... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Looks a lot better now. I actually washed the car today. I haven't washed it since the flood (early May) so it definitely needed a bath. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Couldn't find any hex, torx or other similar unscrew-able type of object, just holes behind the flaps in the stock unit. 99% of my searches came up with something different than what I see, looks like a special tool requirement. More studying tomorrow! __________________ 2005 Steel Blue 325ia: Upgrades/Mods: Lots. 1996 Alpine White: 318ti: Dinan Stage 1 Software. CosmoRacing CAI EVO 3.5". Dinan Free Flow exhaust. X-Brace. I guess that'd make it a pent key. If you can't find a tool anywhere, you could go the MacGuyver route and file down the tip of a piece of coat-hanger wire. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
