Default Rear Rack?

Hi all,
Has anybody had any luck with a rear bike rack on their ti? The one I have now hooks on to the top of the hatch, and I'm afraid to latch it to the glass. I know a roof rack is key, but I need to win the lottery first... Thanks!

saris bones 2 + hatch hugger straps (good for 2 bikes up to 70lbs). just got it, but the car is in my garage for extended repairs so it'll be awhile before i use it. others on the yahoo mailing list had good things to say about it and that's why i got it. you MUST use the hatch hugger straps to avoid damage to the top glass of the hatch. see www.saris.com for more info and spec'ing a rack for the ti.

i have an old thule i used before i got the roof racks. had no problems attaching it to the glass.

you could also run the straps around the glass and under the plastic to the frame if you're exceptionally paranoid.

I'm only exceptionally paranoid if there's a possibility of having to replace my rear hatch glass! Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
