Default 98 328 engine and trany into a 97 318ti

Hi, I am thinking of putting a 98 328 engine and trany into a 97 318ti has anyone done this. I can get the motor and trany but no engine wiring harness. Has anyone done this. What does it entail?

do u have the ecu, all of the sensors. im thinink u might be able to get all of the wiring from the dealer but thats probably gonna be very expensive for them all.

once you have the wiring and ecu (shop aroung bf.c), try searching for obd1 M3 cam together with turner or aa software you will have the power similar to M3 engine. My friend put a 328 engine on his E30 m3 and his making around 238rwhp.
