Just wanted to see if anybody else plays these sims. | | | 04-19-2007, 08:47 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Europe Posts: 136 | I play Racer, GTR, GTR2, GTL, rFactor... but I love racer because is free, there is a large community and because WE made the cars and tracks!, so everyone can help at development of this sim. | | | 04-19-2007, 12:18 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Ft Lauderdale, Fl moving to Eastern PA in May of 2007 Posts: 326 | I love Forza and I can't wait to buy ForzaII for the 360. I saw the trailer on Xbox live and it looks awesome. I am a big fan of Rallisport Challenge 2 (the Ti is it). I have both games for the original Xbox but I don't play them anymore. __________________ 318ti, sport, hellrot, 05/95 Munich, Germany | | | 04-19-2007, 12:37 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Lincoln Park Capitol Hill, Washington DC Posts: 741 | I Play Forza, but the M3 is slow compared to the other cars. I am looking forward to Forza 2 if it has the E36 M3. The Courses are real; I've compared the Nurburgring course to videos of the real thing and it is prett accurate. Oh, if you want t drive a Ti, play the RalliSport 2.......it has a 318ti/compact rally car.....unfortunately only 4 speed since it's for Ice racing. __________________ It's always a great day to be underwater and play with the fish.....preserve our oceans and reefs" Fariz 1997 318ti, Hellrot (Bright Red), Dinan Stage 2 Chip 16x7 OEM sport Wheels/X-Brace/Custom Strut Brace/Cold Air Intake/M-Tec Steering Wheel/Koni Adjustable FrontShocks/ Bilstein Sport Rear Shocks /H&R Sport Springs/Custom fabricated strut tower brace/Rear Strut brace, Stromung Exhaust Future Mods: E46 17" wheels or Kosei K-1 17x8.5s | | | 04-19-2007, 04:05 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | Dirt is also coming out the xbox360. That is the next Colin McCray rally game. Need for Speed: Carbon is a good arcade style driving game. I kind of like how they took the free flowing nature of games like GTA and made a driving game out of it. The police chases are pretty fun as well. Forza is fun, as is Gran Turismo. | | | 04-19-2007, 04:12 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | I play forza all the time and love it. I dont have a 360 and dont really plan on getting one anytime soon, but would love to get my hands on one and play forza2. GT4 is pretty cool too. I bought a 1-series, stage 3 turbo, full weight reduction, and a bunch of other things...the car handles amazingly and the graphics are great. Unfortunately forza wins the fun-factor award. I didnt know, but you can find a used Mcoupe in that game as well...havent used mine yet though. Fun games. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 04-19-2007, 04:16 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Downtown Historic Fredericksburg, VA Posts: 339 | IDOF. The physics are spot on, and the RB4 (with some slight setup changes) feels a lot like a 318ti. The online racing is amazing (best with a wheel). Believe it or not playing LFS has taught me a lot about car control and I've learned a lot of "what-if" situations, mostly because the physics engine is so accurate. On top of that, the development is still on-going so new features are added almost weekly. If you haven't seen or heard about it before I highly recommend it. With a G25 wheel it feels like the real thing. http://www.liveforspeed.net Pic | | | 05-11-2007, 08:33 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Ft Lauderdale, Fl moving to Eastern PA in May of 2007 Posts: 326 | Forza Motorsports 2 demo is on XBOX live for the 360. The is only one track on the demo but you can drive the E36 M3 and a BMW McLaren F1. The E36 tears it up. I can’t say for sure because I haven’t played the full version yet but this may be the best driving sim out. I have played them all too on PS and PC but this takes the cake as far as the driving characteristics. XBOX 360 owners will not be disappointed if you take the time to download it. __________________ 318ti, sport, hellrot, 05/95 Munich, Germany | | | 05-11-2007, 09:57 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Westfield, IN Posts: 1,335 | i have NFS Hot Pursuit 2, NFS Underground 1 and 2, NFS Most wanted and now carbon i also have GT3 and GT4 on PS2 and i also have SRS (street racing syndicate) now on the 360 all i have is Test Drive and and Most Wanted! also does ne one know if forza one will work on the 360???? dying to play this game!! micaoct is live for speed a computer game?? __________________ Greg M42 Club member 186 WTB: HELLROT RED CLUB SPORT 95 ti sold but staying in the family. | | | 05-11-2007, 10:04 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Ft Lauderdale, Fl moving to Eastern PA in May of 2007 Posts: 326 | Just put the Forza 1 game in the 360 and it will auto download the update and you will be able to play. Live for Speed can be downloaded off the net for the PC. __________________ 318ti, sport, hellrot, 05/95 Munich, Germany | | | 05-15-2007, 12:05 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Westfield, IN Posts: 1,335 | Quote: Originally Posted by jkilla71 Just put the Forza 1 game in the 360 and it will auto download the update and you will be able to play. I had not played many of the computer based sims as my home PC is older and not up to playing a lot of current graphics intensive games... A buddy of mine recently upgraded his machine and had a pretty good AGP card that works well with my setup. So yesterday I got my machine up to specs to run rFactor and also got myself a logitech DrivingForceGT wheel. So who else on here plays rfactor still? Any favorite tracks, mods, or cars? Me and an buddy of mine have been getting together around 10pm eastern and running around Sebring and a few other American tracks using the new Osella T2R Minichamp spec cars.. I think tonight we are going to turn some laps around the Brazil GP circuit as well as Roebling Rd. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
